Basic German Labor Law for Employees
Starting a job in Germany can raise many questions about your rights and responsibilities as an employee. This workshop provides a practical introduction to the fundamentals of German labor law. You will learn about employment contracts, working hours, wages, probation periods, vacation entitlement, sick leave, termination of employment, and employee rights and obligations. There will also be time to discuss common workplace situations and answer your questions.
This workshop is especially suitable for international students, graduates, and anyone who is new to the German labor market. No prior knowledge is required.
Please note: The workshop will be conducted entirely in English.
