03/ March – 21.03.2026 Acrylic DIY Workshop – Recreate a Masterpiece for your Home
(Social Event)
You are kindly invited to join our Acrylic DIY Workshop where we will recreate a famous painting on canvas.
Each participant will work on the same artwork composition while choosing their own individual colour palette
Whether you stay close to the original or reinterpret it creatively is entirely up to you.
At the end of the workshop, we will have a small challenge:
The participant whose painting is closest to the original artwork in terms of composition, proportions and details will receive a small prize.
No prior painting experience is required. All materials will be provided.
Location: Room “IKT” (Interkultureller Treff) on the ground floor of building A12 (SSC) on Haarentor campus
Limited spots available (10–12 participants only). Registration is required. Registration deadline is March 16, 2026.

Our workshop provides you with the most important information on how to conduct independent research and/or extend your stay in Germany: How does the academic system work? What do I need to know about the funding landscape in Germany? How do I compile an academic portfolio for career planning and application? And how can I develop a successful strategy for raising my own third-party funding?
